Rails Developer

FLSA: Full time, Exempt or Contract to Hire
Reports to: COO
Location: Portland, OR

Revelation is changing the way companies understand the fundamental truth of consumer experiences. Our online and mobile qualitative research platform is used by the world’s top research and consumer goods companies. We are in search of a great addition to our rapidly expanding team! We are looking for a full-time or contract to hire employee. Our ideal candidate has experience developing large Rails applications, experience with developing native iOS applications or willing to learn iOS development.

We work on a wide selection of programming and interaction challenges: mobile apps, building APIs, and data visualizations, to name a few.

We are looking for some talented people to join our growing team!

Experience & Skill you need to bring to the table:

• Experience with programming production applications
• Ruby on Rails experience required and knowledge and some experience of iOS is preferred
• Solid knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Javascript and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with HAML/SASS/Coffeescript, Google Closure, RSpec, Redis
• Experience building custom JSON APIs
• Experience using internal and 3rd party JSON APIs
• Experience with version control software with a preference to Git
